I didn't like him at first. To be fair he was sitting on the couch which was my bed at the time and I was tired after working all day.

Both we and the room was splining. I was amazed at her outgoing personality and how she was able to interact with different people.

I was a bit tipsy but I knew I wanted to kiss him. The memory is fuzzy, but it was a nice kiss. We were laughing and dancing, it was magical.

I said, "I love you." because I meant it. I'd been wanting to say those words for a while, and it was a great relief to finally get them out. We were laying on Elyse's old la-z-boy watching YouTube. I didn't realize we'd be spending the rest of our lives together. Although I was disappointed she didn't say it back, I'm glad I said it.

It was at my crappy old apartment in Highland Park. Kevin said it first, and I wasn't ready to say it back because, to me, those words mean more when they're said in a relationship. To his credit, he didn't rush me but let me say in my own time, which is another reason why I love him.

I was a little worried about the location, but it's grown on me. I love our house, although we are still in the process on truly making it our home.

It's a bit of a fixer upper but the bones are good. Plus it has everything we were looking for in a house to make it into a home.

I wasn't much of a cat person before him, but his affectionate nature would make anyone change their opinion on cats. Although he can be a little meanie, he's a lovable meanie.

It was love at first sight for me. He wasn't in the plans, but I can't imagine life without my little buddy. He's a sweetheart and a little jerk, but I love him.

I had planned everything out to a t, but what I was going to say. Then I fell hard on my knee. However, the fall did help me improvise what I was going to say. It was a beautiful night, and I couldn't have been happier. Also, "Ow, my knee."

I didn't understand what was happening at first 9since he had just literally fallen). When he pulled out the ring, I gasped as tears came to my eyes. I don't think I've cried so many happy tears in my entire life. It was perfect.
